For this assignment, we were asked to write a letter to the editor and an OpEd. This didn’t take me too long, but I felt like I was writing blog posts. I think I followed the rubric and guidelines for both of them but I felt like I had a hard time making them sound like they were supposed to. These skill sets will help me to write for a journalist to pick up something that I need them to in my career. Being more confident in how to write this is something that I need to work to accomplish.
